On October 18th, Wavemaker held the latest edition of its Innovation Conference. Titled The Future of Creativity, the event featured a lineup of incredible speakers and panels that explored the future of creativity through different lenses.
The afternoon was filled with incredible panels that generated great conversations about the creative process. In the first panel, Chris Linn of TruTV led a discussion with Michael Torpey, host of TruTV’s “Paid Off with Michael Torpey” about balancing creativity (and humor) with raising awareness of a broader societal problem like student debt. This was followed by a truly inspiring dialogue with former college and NBA star Jay Williams, who has drawn upon creativity to overcome the challenges he has faced as a result of a terrible accident that ended his professional basketball career.
VidMob’s Greg Lieber sat on a panel with an amazing group of leaders from AirBNB, NowThis, and Emogi, moderated by Wavemaker’s Noah Mallin, that explored the origins of these companies and how each has tapped into creativity.
